Molding

Our trim moldings are produced to satisfy the strict appearance and dimensional specifications of our customers.  The production of our trim molded products begins with the roll forming of flat stainless steel into complex shapes.  The parts are then sent through a multi-resin extrusion process to finalize the cross sectional shape of the part.  These resins satisfy both appearance and functional requirements of the part.

Once these products are extruded, they are processed through a 3-dimensional bending technique to conform the final product to the contour of the vehicle.

At Katayama, we also specialize in the extrusion of bright stainless trim molded products. These products give the vehicle a very impressive style, intended to satisfy a higher consumer appearance standard.
