In order to meet the challenges of the automotive industry, Katayama formed the strategy to ensure that our quality and environmental standards met the expectations of the industry.  This approach began with our quality system standardization, resulting in QS-9000 certification in September 1998.  As our systems and business relationships evolved, we achieved our TS-16949 certification in June 2004.  Our quality system and strategies support our company quality policy statement of “Partnerships for the Future”.

In addition, Katayama understands our corporate citizenship responsibility to the surrounding community.  We formalized this by achieving our ISO-14001 certification in 2002.  With the environmental management system in place, we have adopted an on-going environmental policy of KACI will C.A.R.E.
